6. How to choose my first class?

7. What will I need to bring?
Our studios provide body wash, shampoo and conditioner for use in our fully equipped showers. You can keep your valuables and bags inside our lockers. We also provide complimentary fresh bath towels in our studios. Individual Yoga mat, blocks, straps, Pilates ball and other props are available for your practice.
We have almost everything readily prepared for you! All you need to bring is your changing clothes, personal hygiene products, a face towel and a spirit to try something new!
8. How do I book my first class?
To book your first class, you may pick a class from our schedule, message/email the details. Our Jal staff will contact you to confirm the class and.. Voila! We will see you in class!
9. Things to take note when arriving for class
- Please arrive at least 10 minutes before class to give yourself enough time to get ready
- All classes start on time, and once the instructors enter the class, latecomers will not be allowed in
10. Things to take note when leaving class
- Please return all the props to its original place
- Remember to take all your belongings (locker key, water bottle, face towel) with you
- If you have to leave the class early, please inform the instructor before the class starts
- If you feel overwhelmed at anytime, please notify the instructor before making your way out of the room and rejoin the practice when you feel ready
11. What should I eat before class?
We suggest a light snack, such as a banana, some yogurt, chocolate, before your practice.
12. If I have any medical condition(s), can I still attend the class?
Please let our staff know about your condition(s) when booking the class and we’ll provide advice according to your individual condition. If in any doubt, please seek your doctor’s approval.
13. Things to take note for pregnancy and post-pregnancy
It is recommended that soon-to-be mothers to keep themselves fit and mobile. Yoga and Pilates are both good ways to keep fit during pregnancy, especially in the second trimester (4-6 months pregnant). They are also good practices for mummies who have just given birth. They help to reduce risks of postpartum depression, realign your body back, strengthen the core and regain a proper posture.
However, it is important that you have consulted your doctor before commencing or resuming the practice.
