Rachel, with her fun and passionate yoga methodology, seeks to equip you with in-depth skills and knowledge to practise and perfect your backbend postures. Achieve these postures with greater clarity and poise, through effective use of the Yoga wheel, blocks and strap.

Over the workshop, Rachel will take you step-by-step through the alignments, preparations and postures necessary to execute your best backbends and go upside down.

Headstands can be intimidating and cause many of us to avoid exploring this pose due to fear or lack of instruction.

However, they can actually be practised safely and explored effectively with enough explanation and guidance. After some practice, you can even have fun with it!

Also known as “The King of Asanas”, the headstand offers lots of benefits – especially when one learns to execute it correctly and safely.

This workshop is all about exploring and mastering various arm balances in Yoga, from foundational poses like Crow Pose to advanced ones like Eka Pada Koundinyasana II (EPK2). You will learn the techniques, strength-building exercises, and mindfulness practices necessary to achieve and hold these challenging postures.
