These oils are extracted from flowers, roots, leaves, seeds, bark certain plants to help boost your mood or make you feel better. Hence, when used carefully and thoughtfully, the benefits can be amazing!

Lavender | Essential Oil
Most children fight to go to bed because being awake is just so much more fun! However, developing good sleep habits when they are young is a wonderful gift we can give them. Sleep is so incredibly important, and all of us require more of it! Lavender is a great choice for so many things due to the harmonizing effect it has on the nervous system. Not only does it helps calm the mind it is also the top choice when it comes to fighting insomnia (especially so when it is caused by anxiety and/or stress)!
Take a few drops of Lavender essential oil and diffuse it in the room, fifteen minutes before your child’s bedtime. During their bath time, add some drops into their bath water to soak away stress or apply to the temples and the back of the neck. You can also add a few drops of Lavender to pillows, bedding, or bottoms of feet to promote a restful night’s sleep.
