Dear Jal Tribe,
We know that you are as excited as we are to get back onto the mat to practice with us. While we are all excited to get back onto the mat, it is essential that we all stay safe and be responsible as we flow on the mat! To ensure the wellbeing of our members/visitors/staff, here are the measures that are put in place across all studios.
Before you head down to our studios, do take a look at our latest measures so you will know what to expect when returning to our studios!
Are You In Good Health?
We regret to inform you that entry will not be allowed if you have:
– Fever (37.5°C & above)
– Any respiratory symptoms (cough, runny nose, shortness of breath)
– Been in close contact with any confirmed and/or suspected case(s) within the past 14 days
Bring Your Own
We highly recommend you to bring your own towels and mat towel. You are also strongly encouraged to bring along your own mat and props as we will be minimizing the use of studio props.
Sharing cups will not be provided, so do bring along your own water bottles and refill them at the water cooler in our studios.
Book Your Class In Advanced
All classes must be booked on the Jal Yoga App before heading down the studios. Please note that no walk-ins will be allowed for contact tracing purposes.
With limited slots available, we hope everyone gets a chance to come for class. Hence we seek your kind understanding and cooperation to cancel out of the class at least 4 hours in advance if you cannot make it. Late cancel or no show will be penalised and have your class booking privilege taken away for the next 3 days.
We also strongly encourage everyone to avoid booking back to back classes during this period of time!
Face Mask
Wearing of face mask is compulsory before entering the studios and prior to starting your practice. The Jal staff will be wearing their face masks at all times as well.
Instructors
To minimise contact and enable efficient contact tracing, we will be stationing fixed instructors at each studio weekly.
Instructors stationed will be switched on a weekly basis.
Limited Lounge Availability
We know that it has been some time since you meet your friends in the studio. But let’s avoid hanging out at the lounge area now. If you happen to be waiting in the lounge area, do maintain a safe distance from each other.
Contact Tracing
Contact tracing is compulsory across all our studios and we will require everyone entering the studios to download the TraceTogether and SafeEntry App. You can check-in at the studios via the SafeEntry QR code upon entering our studios.
Enhanced Measures
- Temperature screening will be carried out on members/visitors/staff at all studios.
- Floor stickers & courtesy lines will be placed for social distancing.
- Hand sanitisers will be available at the reception counter.
- Additional cleaning and disinfection will be done to touchpoints, mats, classroom, common area and shower areas.
- Do arrive early to fill up the declaration form (latecomers will not be allowed to enter).
- Members/visitors are highly encouraged to wash their hands thoroughly before and after classes and to avoid touching their faces at all times.
Reduce Physical Contact
All check-ins will be contactless and done through the Jal Yoga App or check-in via Front desk to minimise physical contact. Do download our App before coming down to the studio!
Class Size
In accordance with the latest government guidelines, our classes will be conducted with at least 2m spacing in between mats, and class capacity will be
We will continue to follow the strict guidelines that have been shared by the authorities. As you know, there has been much confusion regarding the class capacity when Phase 2 was announced.
Upon clarifying with SportSG, we will now be able to conduct classes with more than 5 pax per room. We will strictly adhere to the 2m safe distancing between each pax and a 3m distance apart between each group (5 pax).
The class capacity will differ depending on the studio size at each location.
Cleanliness
There will be a thorough disinfection of the classroom in between class.
Adapted Teaching Methods
Our instructors have been advised to limit physical adjustments during classes. They will instead emphasise on verbal corrections and demonstrations during classes.
Please note that Jal Yoga reserves the right to refuse anyone from attending any classes if they exhibit any signs of illness, not limited to fever, shortness of breath, cough and other symptoms of cold or flu. We seek your cooperation in adopting these precautionary measures and good personal hygiene practices.
