Dear Jal Tribe,

As you all know, we will be re-opening our doors after 3 months. Since we announce our reopening, we have received many feedback and concerns which we will like to address. Kindly take a look at the list of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) and details on what you need to know before returning to the studio!

What will be the class capacity?

We will continue to follow the strict guidelines that have been shared by the authorities. As you know, there has been much confusion regarding the class capacity when Phase 2 was announced.

Upon clarifying with SportSG, we will now be able to conduct classes with more than 5 pax per room. We will strictly adhere to the 2m safe distancing between each pax and a 3m distance apart between each group (5 pax).

The class capacity will differ depending on the studio size at each location.

Are our membership still suspended?

With effect of 23rd June, we will be reactivating your membership as we will be conducting group classes across all studios.

As we will now be able to handle a larger capacity per class, we will be re-activating your membership so that you can continue to practice with us in studios.

Will there still be semi-private classes?

No, we will no longer be conducting the Semi-Private Classes as we will be accommodating more people in the group classes.

Will we still have online ZOOM classes?

Yes, we will! For those who are still unable to practice with us in the studio, we will continue to provide free ZOOM classes alongside our in-studio class.

To view the online class schedule, you can head on to the Jal Yoga App or via the link and click on the ‘Alexandra Branch’ tab:

What will the In studio class schedule be like?

With the strict limitations set by the authorities for the start of  Phase 2, we will be operating strictly according to the guidelines given. When the restrictions are gradually relaxed, we will be able to review and fine-tuned our schedule accordingly as we get back to the full capacity in the near future.

Classes will be staggered for crowd control and minimize contact amongst different groups.

Also mentioned in our studio guidelines, instructors will be stationed at each location for a week before we rotate them between different branches.

What should I expect when returning to the studio?

We have compiled a full list of studio guidelines that you can read through here:

We will continue to review our schedule as we go along the way and we will like to thank you for your patience and feedback throughout this time.
