Climb into the Himalayas at sunrise. Float beside a still mountain lake. Drift through streets of ancient temples. A week of Yoga, exploration, and stillness across Nepal.
Nepal has been drawing Yogis, wanderers, and seekers for centuries. Some come for the summits. Some come for the stillness. Most leave with both.Â
This retreat follows that same pull. 7 days split between Kathmandu’s ancient streets and Pokhara’s lakeside calm, climbing Himalayan viewpoints, practising Yoga, and finding stillness between it all. Here is how your week unfolds.

Day 1 (20 Sept, Sun)
Your first breath of Kathmandu air. Settle in with an after-flight Grounding Flow and dinner to close the evening.

Day 2 (21 Sept, Mon)
Begin the day with Rise & Flow before heading out to Swayambhunath, one of Nepal's most sacred temple sites. Back at the hotel, we close the day with Yin Yoga and Meditation.

Day 3 (22 Sept, Tue)
The day starts with Pranayama before a scenic mountain drive to Pokhara, Nepal's lakeside city nestled beneath the Himalayas. Take a sunset walk along Phewa Lake and wind down after dinner with a light evening stretch.

Day 4 (23 Sept, Wed)
Rise before dawn and climb to Sarangkot, a hilltop viewpoint above Pokhara, as the Himalayas turn gold at sunrise. Greet the morning with a Sunrise Meditation and Flow at the viewpoint, then hike back down at your own pace. The evening closes with Inversion Yoga.

Day 5 (24 Sept, Thurs)
Begin the day with a Morning Ashtanga before taking a boat across Phewa Lake to the World Peace Pagoda trailhead. Hike up to the Pagoda, a Buddhist monument perched above the lake with sweeping Himalayan views. Finish with lunch at a lakeside restaurant before a free afternoon to rest. The evening closes with a local sound bath healing session.

Day 6 (25 Sept, Fri)
Rise for a final lakeside Sunrise Flow in Pokhara before flying back to Kathmandu. The afternoon takes you through Thamel, Kathmandu's lively quarter of handicrafts, cafes, and hidden gems. The evening closes with a gentle flow and closing circle.

Day 7 (26 Sept, Sat)
Close the retreat with a final morning Sadhana before heading out to Patan Durbar Square, an ancient royal city of temples, courtyards, and artisan workshops. A last lunch together, then transfer to the airport for your flight home.

Yoga found Aneesh young. What started as a childhood practice became a lifelong calling, and eventually, a career built around sharing it with others.
With 7 years of teaching across India and internationally, he has a gift for making the practice feel accessible without watering it down. Precise where it matters, patient always.
Nepal is a place he knows well. This retreat is designed to let the landscape do as much work as the practice itself.
On Leading This Retreat: “Nepal teaches patience. The mountains don’t rush, rivers find their way. This retreat mirrors that rhythm. We practise, we explore, we let the journey do its work.”
